WINTER RECITAL 2021
IN PERSON or VIRTUAL
We're excited to announce the Winter Recital for 2021. If you would like to perform on one of the recital days let your teacher know. We will have sign up info in a couple of weeks. We will let you know what session your teacher will be there.
Here's more info:
-WHERE: Crossroads Assembly of God, 7 D’Alfonso Rd. Newburgh, NY 12550.
-WHEN (IN PERSON): Saturday Dec. 4th and 11th, and Sunday Dec. 5th and 12th.
-TIME: Saturdays 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sundays 2:00pm to 8:00 pm. Performances will be in sections so you can enjoy an hour to an hour and a 1/2 of musical entertainment. We’ll have more info on time slots as we get closer to the date.
***We ask that you please keep the time that you signed up for. Last recital we had over 300 students perform.
-The Recitals are OPTIONAL: Let your teacher know if you’re interested in performing and you can work on a song/short piece or two (duration up to 3 minutes). If you’re not ready to perform there is always the spring recital. You can come to the recital to check it out but you do not have to perform.
-DRESS: The recital is semi-formal: Dress shirt and pants/nice dress. Feel free to discuss it with your teacher.
-INSTRUMENTS: There is a Grand Piano, drumset, vocal mic’s, and a PA system. Please bring all other instruments with you, as well as your music if your are reading from a book or score.
-COST: The recital is FREE for students, family, and guests. The recital performers can only perform in the recital if they are registered students for December.
-DEADLINE: We will announce the deadline in a couple of weeks.
-RECORDING/PHOTOS: You’re welcome to record or take pictures. If you want photos or video of the performance we encourage you to do so yourself.
-VIRTUAL RECITAL: If you don't want to perform in person you can always record a video at home and submit it to us. These will air live on youtube. Date to be announced.
